Tires - DOT Legal 15 & 17 inch

Does anyone have a pretty good list of the manufacturers and sizes of the various W-I-D-E yet relatively __short__ 15 and 17 inch DOT legal tires?

I 've spent what seems like hours in searches on TireRack.com and others and have found a little info, but would really like a list that shows sizes, diameters, section and tread widths..

I'm contemplating the Gulf flares on my car but don't want to do it if I can't find a reasonable tire to fill the wheel wells..

it would depend upon how wide you are talking about...

Each manufacturer has different ways of filling the wide arches, with wheels from 9.5 upto 14 inches wide.

Dare I ask how you do it Fran?

Can you do it with the 10" wide BRM's? What size tires?

Another thing I am curious about is the maximum diameter of rear tire that these cars (such as the RCR40) will support..
