Doc's SL-C Build

Dave,

The pass through tube is removable, secured by small screws. BTW, Harman can configure the cell to your specifications. Check first with Fran to see if they now have a business arrangement so as not to offend either party. I kind of inadvertently got in the middle of vendors with my dry sump setup.

I have established "spike camp" in San Angelo so today back in Lone Oak I have my SL-C loaded on my Sloan Quick-Load trailer for it's 330 mile journey tomorrow. I will load some parts and tools to keep me busy till my new shop is done and work in the rental house garage till then. I will have to wait to bring my engine hoist for another time so changing out the alternator bracket and serpentine will have to wait. No welder, etc. I'll just have to be patient.

I recently moved into the new shop and pulled the engine/ricardo to redo the front accessory drive. Moved the alternator to the CTS-V location and installed a power steering "delete" unit. Just waiting for some headers to be finished. I don't have the AC compressor or underdash unit from Vintage Air as yet. Working on the fuel delivery system. Test fitting the pedal assembly and seating. Not quite finished with door installation, but primary hinges done. Still wrestling with location for Hall effect transducers for TC unit.

So, basically lots to do after the long hiatus......

Does Alex feel left out?
Just get an LS3/376 and be done with the waiting...But, I shouldn't throw rocks as I haven't been particularly fast either..

That's actually Roberto's shop as he is building my headers. My engine is currently out of the chassis as I do some plumbing and electricals and wait for those beautiful headers.
