I wonder what ever happened to Fran coming out with the street seats for it or did that not pan out. I have the cipher ones, but a high end really nice seat would be really nice for our high end cars.
I also wonder why we do not have a really nice high end seats available from the likes of Recaro or Sparco. Has anyone ever contacted them about making some really nice seats for us, maybe even something they can put in their lineup for sale to the general public for even more sales. I would think there should be something that they can base it off of so there might not be a ton of changes needed. Fran, you can use your industry powers and make it happen? Here is how I would imagine the conversation to go.
Conversation version A
Fran: "Hello, I am Fran, the owner of RCR and would like to work with you on make custom seats for our SLC,"
Recaro. "We know the car and love it. We would love to work with you and give your customers an amazing seat at amazing prices. What can we do to make this happen, super pretty please with sugar on top?"
Fran. "We need these sizes----x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x- and make them like this x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x."
Recaro. "That we can do and send a free set of seats for to put into your own car you bring to shows so customers can see it themselves. This would be great for us. (much more ass kicking to just be involved with an SLC project goes on for minutes on minutes).
Fran. "Great, thank you, wonderful, I will look forward to them arriving on my doorstep by Monday of next week like you said you would do personally so you can look at the car yourself. I will see you then."
Conversation version B
Fran: "Hello, I am Fran, the owner of RCR and would like to work with you on make custom seats for our SLC,"
Recaro. "Who are you?"
Fran: "Fran from RCR."
Recaro. "From what or where?"
Fran. "I manufacture and design the best and most innovative replica cars and kit cars on the market. We set records at all the tracks we enter, we are the national champs and did I meantion I have raced isle of man."
Recaro. "Hmmmmm, well, we only want to deal with real cars, like the GTR's or EVO's. We are not interested in any truly interesting cars at this time or anytime in the future. Plus, I am eating my lunch right now so you are just lucky I ansered the phone at all.
Fran. "I am sorry to disturb you, but if you are insterested in making some seats and getting sales for your company we can work together on this."
Recaro. "Nah, we really do not care about real car guys and just sell what have. You can check our catalog for seats that might work as I need to go as my salad is getting cold from us talking, I mean warm, whatever. bye." click and hang up
Fran goes away from conversation mad and upset, starts new seat devolpment division of RCR called SGS-c (super great seats callipygous ). First thing he does is come up with ultra high end street seat for the SLC and SLC crowd roars with excitement and claim Fran is the best ever at everything, yet again. Fran devolps the best seats on the markets, sells millions to everyone and every manufacture, makes enough money to buy Recaro. He then sits sipping tea satisfied he has crushed the competition pondering what his next conquest shall be.
