Michael, your SLC is set up pretty much exactly as I envisioned mine. The grey gel coat looks great and the fling wing suits the street clip very well. Can't wait to follow your build!

that was a question i had, that's a gray gelcoat? (not paint) so it's a buff and go body?

Fran- in the pic you have noted of the gray car, is that the street tail??? It goes down farther behind the rear wheel than the race tail I believe. My confusion is that it has a wing. Is that the new mod? :shocked2:

BTW- I am going to have rear wing side plates like on Dean's car.

I have been tossed up about final finish color.All of my cars have been silver/yellow. After watching the DP cars this past weekend, I am leaning toward a custom yellow with silver stripe. I am going to do some body mod on the air inlet, thus a thought the gray may serve as a good primer color.

I am have Fran drop in the engine along with mating it to the transaxial. This made getting the engine from Kelly a no brainer.

So Fran- let the cat out of the bag. Is this the new rear wing mod? I'm thinking add the motor/trannie and send it to me. I have to get the Reflect-a-Gold on first though, so hold for a week or so... LOL

The front splitter shown is the track splitter..

we have three..

street,track and full race

The wing mounted on the grey car is not quick release and does not allow the tail to hinge...thats where the "fling" wing comes in..... we have to make a new mounting that will allow the tail to hinge but the wing must still be removed prior...
