Greetings all.
I have searched the site but have not found a concise posting with all of the correct alignment information for the RCR40.

I am looking for ride:

height front/rear
caster f/r
camber f/r
toe f/r

I am finally getting the car to an alignment shop who is not going to tell me the car is not in the system.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Check Dean Lampe's GT40 build thread....IIRC there were some specs for alignment in that one.

Dean tracked his, though...if you're looking for street specs it might be a good start, though.

Cheers!

Michael, I don't know about an RCR, but I set my CAV to 1 degree negative camber front, 0 degree camber rear, 1/8 toe in front, 0 toe rear, 4 degrees caster front and I forget what the caster was rear. The ride height was set to 1 degree nose down attitude which I believe was about 4.5 inches clearance at the front. Corner weighing was done such that left-to-right was w/in 50 lbs (without driver in the car).

This made a substantial improvement in the car. Prior to setting it to these settings the car was a mess with different settings left to right, funky driving quirks and odd handling. Now she drives like a dream on the road. Prior to having the car set to these specs I installed much improved uprights front and rear designed and built by Ian of CAV Canada. Little works of art each in themselves.
