Jim, send me an E and I will send pics. FrankWhat type of replacement windows do you have Frank?
Personally, I think they got a bad run of plexiglass but Superformance doesn't seem very keen on that theory.....Hi Glenn, I am 2453. Not sure polishing is the answer from some research on the subject, but will try next week if I get some sun. I am will to bet this is just SA plastic and it's doing its thing.
I see what you are referring too now, that definitely isn't from external crazing or superfine scratches I am used to seeing on poly panels.Personally, I think they got a bad run of plexiglass but Superformance doesn't seem very keen on that theory.....
I know it will never be as clear as actual glass, but the milky cloud in the sunshine really makes the car look......cheap.
Which is something that it most certainly was NOT.
The headlight and fog light covers are also subject to this, but to a lessor extent.
Out of the direct sunlight / heat it isn't an issue at all. Also notice the helicopter vent added to the window doesn't have any trouble staying clear in the sunlight / heat.
I'm planning to re-visit my complaint to Superformance, you might want to reach out to them as well.Yea, yours is pretty bad, mine not far behind. Wonder if we would get any satisfaction out of SPF?
Hi- Tech does not handle any parts or warranty directly with SPF customers, that must be done via the dealer. And since there was a Valentines Day Massacre of dealers, many are no longer interested in warranty fulfillment.Glenn, who were / are you dealing with, Hillbanks or Superformance directly in SA?
