Hi Guys,

In one of my other lives - I help this company building & driving racecars plus their website work..

One of our customers is having us build a new (and I mean NEW) racecar for him and I thought I would post a link to the website here in case you were interested in watching Carriage House Custom Automotive's website and build progress..

This is going to be an exceptionally nice racecar that's being built to run in NASA's American Iron series and hopefully we'll be able to get Homologation into the SCCA's American Sedan class as well..

Transformer's Bumblebee on the track?

The owner (Customer) will be the driver of this one - not me..

There's been a few updates now..

We're still working on getting all the component weights logged into a spreadsheet and then onto the website.

Wait until you see what we're cutting out of this Chubby-Chebbie!

Just an FYI -

The Tremec TR6060 weighs a svelt 156#
It's cooled by an oil cooler in the radiator and the pump is (hold on now) the Power Steering pump. Yes - it shares the same fluid as the Power steering rack... Rather a unique approach!

The roll cage started going in this week and will be finished soon.. We're hoping to have this car done in time for the NASA Nationals...

Randy:

Cool post. It is nice to see a current american production car being built up for racing. I am very tired of seeing 1987 monte carlos with modified plastic noses as a ex-ovaltrack racer.
