One of their performers was tragically killed in a fall a few months back (in 'Vegas, I believe) which should prove beyond any shadow of a doubt just how risky the Cirque shows truly are.
Thankyou so much for this.
I too have seen them here in the UK (Albert Hall in London) and it was a truly moving display of musical and physical artistry that moved me. Not a note or movement out of place and some very, very difficult and potentially very dangerous displays.
Sometimes I wish I had several pairs of eyes to take everything in that is going on at once.

Very pleased so many enjoyed the short film.
The show was very busy with a myriad of compelling images. I did have to view it several times in an attempt to take it all in.
I captured a still image from the film (below) which really only showed for a few frames. I never saw it consciously the first few times.
It is truly amazing that the gal dived/dove from the swinging bars and gracefully stuck a two-hand grab to the back of a spectator's chair — and with disarming smile too!
I no sooner completed my appreciation of her talent, when I noticed that the couple to the far right lower corner of the screen were busy attempting to complete a sex act. It was an insult to the whole show, people around them, and to us.
In the real world, things like this only happen behind the green door at GT40 annual gatherings.

*Dove and dived can be used interchangeably. However, to annoy the fewest readers, those following US conventions should use dove, and those following UK conventions should use dived.
