500 HP Mod motor

This past weeks episode of www.twoguysgarage.com
was cool. They added a Keene-Bell blower to a 2005 Mustang
and got 500 HP and 500 ft/lb at the rear wheels. Apparently
these new 3-valve motors are pretty strong.

Kenne Bell screw blowers can make some power, but they also have some issues - check www.corral.net and you'll find quite a few lock up for some reason or another. And, to get 500/500 we're talking some boost too, at least 12 lbs plus, if not around 18 lbs for the 4.6L 3V motor. Might work now but I don't know how long she'll be around at that boost. That said, I've always liked their blowers, have used them, and would consider one for my Lightning too despite what some Lightning owners have seen with them.
