Air conditioning evaporator and enclosure

I damaged the AC Evaporator in my CAV GT.

Part number says# 1110-405-01

02112005150903 EVAP ASSY CAV.

Anyone know where to get a replacement unit with black surround cover?

Maybe this is really a readymade unit from another car such as various other parts on the car.

might be a good time to consider moving the evaporator to the front of the radiator. Mine is mounted that way and is very efficient.

Maybe I was not clear.

It is the evaporator under the dash.

If you draw a blank there, contact the AUTOFUTURA factory directly and see if they have a number. They were of great help when I burned a fan rheostat a couple of years ago and had a part in my hands in a week.
I have also found that several of the parts on my car match early BMW 3 series. Bring the part you have in to a BMW parts dept. and see if they have something similar.
