anyone interested

Let me know if anyone is interested in this project. I have passed this for a couple years and finally stopped to see what the deal was. The old owner was a machinist, was going to make a monster motorcycle out it, got cancer, died and its been sitting for years. The motor and transaxle came out of an wrecked 81 928 Porsche, the machinist did very nice job of mating the two without the torque tube. I don't mind being a middle man and if I can haul it back to AR or any where along the way I don't mind. I would go through the motor for sure even though it turns over. The automatic Transaxle is a 3 speed and pretty bullet proof made by MB I think.

If it were me I'd talk to Beck or Fran and see if it could be mounted in a 904. Hmm!
OR:

Finishing it off as a V8 Porsche powered trike. Imagine the originality and the the looks you'd get from all the harley owners.:shout:

BTW, I've heard those old V8's need only a cam change to really wake them up.

Rich.

Rich I will be here another week then back to Arkansas for the Fall. I usually come back around Christmas to see my 88 year old mother. You are welcome here anytime.

The guy with the motor transaxle said the widow will take $500 now. I don't have a use for it but that seems like a good deal.
