Congrats Chris. Quite a adventure. Where did you place ?? Damn near 2500 miles, now that’s dedication !!
Looks like a good time was had by all.

Regards Brian
Well ... there were 157 starters and divided into 6 groups that did 8 x15 min sessions (4-5 laps) We were grp 6 - 1st cobra, 2nd T70, 3rd GT40, 4th Ginetta G55 from 21 starters- O/A placings 12, 23, 32, 41
The dominant group was Porsche GT3 cup cars with lap times of 1:53 while we hovered around the 2:00 mark ( 1:59 - 2:05 - 2:06 - 2:08 )
The Track has 4 configurations 7.77 km , 4.95km, 3.93km and 3.41km
This event was the 4.95klm circuit T70 did 35 laps =173.25km - Ginetta 32 =158.4km - Cobra 24 (an off)= 118.8km - GT40 18 (engine issues)= 89.1km
T70 with Ls1 wreckers engine consumed 51.95L u98 / 100km ( 90 litres used total) gulp!
Tow vehicle (Hyundai Staria deluxe) approx 600 litres diesel = $1800 aud o_O
5 stop overs = 35 x 400 g steaks + about 250 litres of beer  ( the boys as in above pic )

Sounds like a awesome outing. Congrats , glad you are able to get out and do that.
Less than 24 gallons of race fuel. That’s pretty efficient. When I was helping on a supercharged alcohol burning 526 BBC Pro Mod, we figured roughly 28 gallons to the mile. It had a 1-1/4” fuel inlet . The return fuel went directly back into the fuel inlet.
Which one are you in the picture Chris ??

Hi Chris, great mission! Out of interest, what cam are you running in the LS1 (specs etc), and what useable RPM range are you running in competition? Cheers, Andrew
She's a pretty ordinary Ls1 wreckers engine running a 650 Holley DP and msd double row timing chain with high volume oil pump - ARP bolts and studs
heads are truck 317's cnc machined runners and chambers. Cam is a VCM16 233° / 238° @.050" 114° lobe sep -double valve springs
its previous life was turboed hence that cam I assume -they said 650 HP (to help promote their sale)
anyway its out to pasture these days at ~400 RWHP-- it amazingly and reliably pulls well to 7500rpm tik tik tik ..............
ref for VCM - vcmperformance.com.au a melbourne Aus. co.
