Colotti T37 transaxle

For those who want to create (or have!) the original GT40.
Colotti T37 serial #1056 I believe it is NOS since it has not been apart and shows no sign of use. (There were a few-very few-left unused after the switch to V8 engines in sports racers in the mid sixties).
As a T37 it would be a four speed. Starter would be on the lower right of the engine. Photos to follow.

Sorry no history. When sports racers such as the Lotus Nineteen were updated to V8 engines in the mid sixties some were fitted with Colotti T37s. This may have been a spare unit for a wealthy team or from a conversion that was never finished.
