Design An Emblem?

I take no credit in it, well other than taking the video, lol. That's all Trevor's work. For one interested, it's 6" long and maybe 3/4" high (maybe up to an inch). Having emblems makes me wish my car was on the road already!

Here is the first full set of wheel badges and nose emblem for Ken's car. Can't wait for pics of them mounted on his superlite!

Hi Ken,

Great job! Looks slick, did you use the 3M adhesive or end up using epoxy for the lowest profile mounting.

What's the diameter of your Steering wheel horn button?

I'm a little confused as to which of these emblems reflects the 'official' RCR logo for Superlite - if indeed there is one!
I was waiting on confirmation from Will that he has a source for the RCR version. Also saw a set from Del/Trevor that looked great.
Any update on either of these fronts? They appear to be different than the ones just posted by Ken.
Thanks

I am in the process of mounting them now. I cut the center out of the cap due to it being a dome shape. Household Goop is the stuff I’m using. Just a thin layer. I’ll post the diameter of the steering wheel emblem in the morning.

These are not the official design. Will has that covered in his posts.

At long last, the official Superlite emblems are in!

They are available in 3 variants: red, blue, and silver. See the pictures below for closeups.

The emblems can be obtained from the Superlite factory by calling the main number (586-329-1573) where Vicki can help you. They are available only to current owners, or those with an order already in progress.

For new car orders, one will be included with the car; please request the color you prefer, and the factory will include that one, stock permitting. At the moment, we have a couple hundred in each color.

For existing owners, one in your choice of color will be free of charge, only charging for shipping. If you want two for your car, a total of $5 will get them shipped to you. In either case, call Vicki to order, and be able to specify the color preference.

The emblems are about 3" in diameter, and are slightly convex on the outside- and concave on the inside. They have an adhesive back, exposed by peeling off the white protective cover. Mounting them can be done by some thick double-stick tape under the "dome", or a similar method.

These are designed to fit on the front clam or hood, but they could be placed anywhere they look good. Depending on the wheel, they might look good on a steering wheel as well. Until you get yours, a 3" diameter piece of paper can be used to mock up the ideal place on your car.

Thanks for the patience- these took much longer to get done than anyone anticipated, but I think they will be popular.

Few emblems a buddy made me for my roll around toolbox while he was testing out new equipment. They were printed on plexiglass/lexan with his new printer and was cut out on the laser cutter he built. Pieces are amazing quality, thinking of having him do something similar for my dash

Hi Del,

Glad you started the thread! You inspired me to work on a badge through late last night!

What do you guys think? It's inspired by the "Shield" style emblems. I spent 2 hours picking out the dang fonts. Still needs some work, but the render came out pretty sick!
