Docking Radiators Have you had a Failure?

Hi Phil, I plugged them for now, but before I did that I found that they weren't drilled through. So to create a bleed point I drilled them through and plugged them with a 6mm bolt and copper washer. In the course of filling the system, I used one to allow air out of the rad.

Ok good to know. I’m going to use the one on the driver side as a bleed line to the cap on my expansion tank so need to find a fitting with 6mm thread and a 10mm hose.....that could prove fun.
You got photos of your fitted, I’m guessing you inlet and outlet and at the floor

Just one more comment, the pipe stubs are a little smaller diameter than the Docking so make sure you use tubing which is a snug fit.
