Too bad that we couldn't see the damage to the car. For all we know, it could have been a big pot hole and he bent a rim. I certainly wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Agree with you - the headline made me think "FF totalled" or at least smashed up. A bent wheel? ...big deal.
