Absolutely nothing wrong with a properly contested Formula Ford race... Some of the best racing is done with the lower powered cars where they are so closely matched the DRIVER actually makes the difference!

A race I would pay to see, Take a current grid of 20ish FF cars. Let the current drivers qualify them, grid em up. The take the current group of 20ish F1 drivers and fill the FF seats by lot starting with the poll car.

For a million bucks, winner takes all.

Standing start, full fuel load length, one load of fuel, one set of tires.

The question would be what track? Spa?

They do a race of that type already
They put everyone in identical Karts in Paris and run rally, kart, Fi endurance etc drivers against each other

Really good racing and yes the young guns certainly know how to get the Karts goin
