Using the Koso speed sensor and dash. Do I just leave the GM speed sensor unconnected, I was also going to run a check engine light off the GM harness. Will leaving the speed sensor unconnected trigger a code to my check engine light and if so is there a way to bypass this. No point in having a check engine light if it is constantly on.

You can turn the code off permanently by programing it out with HP Tuners or EFILive. There maybe someone in your city that can help you out that has one of these tuning tools. Wait to see what codes come up once you are up and running then tune all the unwanted codes out at once.
