Got a ride in a GT today!

I just got home from the SVTOA event @ Summit point Raceway.Ford brought a huge trailer full of stuff including a Factory 5 Cobra with a DOHC 4.6 and new Cobra brakes and a yellow GT! They were giving "charity" rides with some incredible drivers during the more advanced run groups.
Words can hardly describe the experience! What a ride! The brakes on it are absolutely amazing!
This has been a great month so far.I got to ride in Bill Bayard's DRB GT40,Got to run my Pantera and my '03 Cobra on the track,got a few hot laps in a GT and I still have Carlisle,Star Wars and a track event at Pocono with my Pantera!

Ron, sounds like a great year for you so far. Looking forward to hearing first-hand accounts and seeing your cat at Carlisle.

 

A friend of mine just got an '05, and we went for a quick drive yesterday. It got better when he let me drive it. Absolutely lovely car, nice nice, very utilitarian when looking at the engine bay through the rear window. A policeman caused us to behave ourselves, but great car.
