Was just throwing things out to talk about while we wait. I'm sure the V6TT can easily put down 5-600hp in crate form (tuned), but not at the rpms that would be fun and not with the reliability of a true performance package. The crate form is also going to need bigger turbos and a lot better oiling system to live in a mid engine sports car.

Dean, I'd still think the new Coyote based M-6007-A50SC* would be the way to go for you. It's the advantages of the Coyote with the strength of the former Aluminator. A perfect package for TT's. I just couldn't find a true apples to apples on weight vs. 13/14 GT500 but the TT is likely to have a higher ceiling and power/weight at the hassle of more R&D. Plus it is slightly smaller at deck height.
