GTD engine mount advice

As I’ve been unlucky with my search for lowered engine mounts, I’ve decided I’m going to have to “adapt” my current one piece engine mount into two separate mounts. (Not lowering them, just so I’ve got space for the sump on the new engine) I’m not handy with a welder so I’m going to have to get someone else to do the work. I would imagine the mounts need bracing underneath the actual mount point to the lower fitting.
Just need advice from anyone who’s done this sort of thing that I’m not overlooking anything?

Hi Simon,
Let me dig up some pictures of what I did to my GTD I'll post them here !! I'd weld up something for you if you were close to Wisconsin !!

Simon,
The 1st picture is what you have the next 3 are what I designed for my car ! The holes are going through the horizontal frame and the vertical cross piece ! Unfortunately I don't have a drawing of them sorry !! But they worked and still are working great !!
Bob

Simon, the ford mounts need a flat pad to sit on or they will twist on the long horizontal bolts under engine torque and eventually fail the rubber element of the mount. The flat pad should be welded to the blue RHS part of the chassis mount.

The new engine is now (temporarily) in place on the reconfigured engine mounts.
I’m picking the ‘box up from Chris Cole on Monday morning so it will be installed in the car (again, temporarily) to enable the it to go off to have the exhaust fabricated.
