I have wanted to visit Gunnar Racing for some time. I finally got the chance yesterday, and they let me walk thru the whole place. Wow.
In their "clean" room they had multiple 962's, single and twin-turbo versions, a 911 GT1, a 936 and other interesting cars. They were assembling a very nice black 1973 911 rs.
In their body shop they had a 917 being repaired, a new 917 chassis that they are building, and what also looked to be a 936 chassis, looked new as well. Poked my head into the cockpit and OMG, it was really tight. Absolute go carts on steroids!
I had a hard time keeping my mouth closed, what a place.
Kevin was super nice to let me walk around by myself.
If you are ever in the area (West Palm Beach) and have a little time it is quite a treat to see all these classics in one place.
