Headlights help

Hi All, I have a set of headlights Valeo Cibies that I got new from Tornado about 4 years ago.
Can anybody explain the installation or show pictures.
I have the headlight, alluminium plate, fibreglass plate and screws.
I have cut out the ally plate to the line shown and drilled the 4 holes marked in each corner.
I also have a fibreglass panel of slightly larger than the ally plate.
By all accounts you bond the fibreglass plate into the body and bond the ally plate to the headlight.
Adjuster screws go between the 2 plates.
I need dimensions,
I'm being thick and any pictures would be appreciated.
Cheers

Probably a bit late for you Keith, but Southern GT do the original backing plates - Just bolt 'em in.
Car's looking great by the way, I can't believe the speed with which you're progressing it!

I Cant believe the speed your achieving in your 40 either ' I hear '
I'm trying to use the parts I already have but it's not to late to talk to Mick as long as I can use my existing Valeo headlight units.

They can also be made to work with the vauxhall viva mounting bracket ( available through the VV club). And if toy contact Geoff Gear he even made it adjustable from in ffont of the valeo unit by removing the Perspex cover

Hi Keith

That´s the way i did it. I still have plenty of that welded on studs, if you want some i can send it to you.

My target was to have no visible screw from the the front view. Adjustability and stability is great. I bought some correct sized stainless steel springs to get the correct spring load for the adjusting. Other than that a fairly simple construction with not a lot of parts.
