Hello from Colorado!

Well I got drawn into the site, just as many others probably have... by Dean Lampe's RCR GT40. Once I saw pictures of it I just had to find out more!

A Shelby Mustang fanatic friend of mine has been asking me to find him a really wild Pro Touring type car and I was telling him if he wants the ultimate street car for that kind of money then we should find him a GT40... I thought I got over my GT40 obsession a while ago, but now he's got me looking for cars for him...:computer: lol

Here's my current ride:

My dream is to one day be well off enough to put together an RCR GT40 with a really high strung, rev happy, 302 based motor, MKI with Gulf hips, etc. very similar to that Dean Lampe car but replicating this Scuderia Filipinetti car:

This sound, and I'm sure most have seen it, is one that keeps me awake at night...

Dustin, Welcome. I really hope you reach your dream. Life's too short not to go for it with all you've got. Let nothing stop you. That's a nice ride you have already but the GT40 is another type of beast altogether. I got my GT40 after some very trying times and hard work and its been hard work since owning it. But its part of the charm as some would say. That GT 40 spin is one of my favorite vid's simply because of the sound....but the car control ain't bad either. Good Luck to you in your search.
