that's Gabriele from Decimomannu, Sardinia.
I am a racing car enthusiast and an F1 fan.
I am also a plastic kits modeler and build mainly F1 cars and WWII tanks.
Love the GT40 and as soon as I discovered this wonderful website I knew I had to register!

I have spent a lot of time on and around, and operating from the airbase in Deci in the 1970's. Some very happy memories, often of slightly hazy and dubious flights after a heavy night out - but I'm so much younger now.

Welcome Gabriele, I suspect there are not too many GT40s in Sardinia so if you are thinking of buying it might be tricky for you to "go compare" I am thinking about taking the family to Sardinia next year (Cagliari area) so if I make it and you are around perhaps we could meet up for a beer and a chat about these great cars. Well, Chris, I never saw any real GT40 actually! :laugh:
Many Ferraris in here, near Cagliari, but unfortunately no GT40s...
Talking about "exotic" cars I was lucky enough to see an old Corvette in LaMaddalena some years ago and, well, it was absolutely fantastic.
Let me know when you arrive so that we could meet! :thumbsup:
