Hi - interested in build manuals

Hi all,
I'm looking at taking on the challenge of building a GT40 replica kit,
I was wondering if anyone knew where to source a build manual,
I'd like to see one I'm getting myself into:)

Haven't found a really good one yet. I have a 1950's Almquist manual, two pages..

All we really need is a general component layout, details of specific odd bits and a basic construction sequence to avoid doing things three times.

IMO the car gets built three times anyway........

All are so different there is no general manual that will tell you how. What type of car do you want to build? Go on line and check out whats out there then make some picks as to what fits your wants.

Oooooh.... but you are SO right :)

The DRB manual is not bad....it certainly wont tell you every nut and bolt. The RF manual is comprehensive but again not a bolt by bolt manual.
The 2 Aussie built cars are well supported and Paul from RF is very Helpfull. Peter from DRB is great aswell.

So many of these cars have been built and regoed in every State of Australia that the manual is of little value. The Guy down the road that has a licensed car you can paw all over and give you advice on what's what is more valueable IMHO.
