High Priced Completed Replica

it is correct 360 aussie dollars are as 200.000 euros?
Seems a little pricey for a so personalized car, reminds a lot that strange yellow car (GTD) for sale in belgium even at a stellar price.
I personally dislike the tail lights.
It is always a mess to touch nicely a perfect line as the gt40 one.

Maybe they are lucky and will found the right customers.
Antera rims are very nice btw, also if i will never place theme on a 40..

Dalton, Definitely the dearest I've seen in Aust. That's some serious money for a Replica, it does have some driveline hardware though.
I'll leave the comments to those who have built these cars.

Like all things the price/value of a product is what the buyer/market is prepared to pay. Not necessarily what the vendor wants.
I think that the ask price may be optimistic to say the least.
No sign of registration plate or sticker, so may not be registered???
Anyway I hope it sells I'll put mine on the market straight away if it does and start on another.

Wow!

Makes me feel better about my "investment" anyway - ie: perhaps it really could be regarded as an investment. ;)

Tim.

THERE ARE SOME NICE INNOVATIONS on that car. i like the LED tailights etc. Still 360K - Think about what else you could get for that money Audi R8 - V10, Porsche 911 - one of the hotted up ones, Fiat Punto. The possibilities are endless.

I think if you want a GT40, you don't want to change the design of the shape. If you want something unique even by GT40 standards, buy MkIV or an SLC and spend the $$$ on that.... 0.02c...

I agree with Bill. The wheels & other mods detract from the overall GT40 mystique.
I do, however, realize that's the way the owner wanted it and he should do whatever pleases him. BTW mine is an SL-C.

Yep, accept the owner should realize that doing it the way he wants may not do it for anyone else.

You could have someone build you the car of your choice with all the same goodies for 150k tops.
