I can understand this sort of thing being developed & used by the likes of the secret services etc but this looks like its an info sheet for something "commercially available" which worries me.

Are companies legally allowed to design, manufacture & sell such things? I am well aware that different countries have different laws on firearms but would hope it was still illegal to import this type of thing into others such as the UK.

Just my thoughts/opinion.

Video of it firing. Pretty cool, but pretty inaccurate except at point blank range. I'm guessing that's what it's used for though. I'm an avid gun fanatic, but I don't see this weapon as useful at all. I'd rather have one that looks a little more like this though...

If you look at snopes' site, while guns have been built into most small, common, articles, it is considered unlikely that this is in "production".
