Hub nut thread?

Ok, this may be a stupid question, but which rear driveshaft/hub goes on which side?
I would guess that the R/H threaded driveshaft goes on the right side (drivers side UK) and the L/H threaded driveshaft on the left side. Am I right?

An easy way to remember this is to remember that the nuts must 'back off'. That is, they are rotated towards the rear of the car to remove them.

Dont think so, If I am not mistaken they are talking about the nut on the drive flange where the splined axle attaches, Not the 'Knock Off' which You & Mike have so much fun debating.

The question (which hub, RH or LH, goes on which side) logically and necessarily relates to the knock-off spinner because the direction of rotation of the spinner (RH/LH thread) dictates the answer. It's one question with one correct answer...

Isn't it amazing how one question can receive many different answers.

Looking at one problem from different angles can give dozens of different answers.

I guess that is what being human is all about.
