Check out Ebay item 330102920011 Ford GT40 Based Tornado TS40 Built 1997
This same item was pulled by Ebay last time it appeared. It really seems likely that a car like this would be offered without a reserve!
If it looks too good to be true - you know the rest.
I have reported this "item" to Ebay.

Hmmm. Ad looks OK, and apart from the fact that he's using his wife's or girlfriends EBay ID what do you reckon is wrong? I didn't see the original auction so don't know what the problem was.

He's not asking for bank transfers or anything, just a personal cheque...

As I say, looks reasonably kosher. Stuff does get sold without reserve on Ebay from time to time. Maybe an error of course... it's happened before.

Aha! Got it now...

a few minutes ago, the seller added this:

" ADDED A FEW MORE WORDS ABOUT THE CAR AND MOST IMPORTANTLY SOME MORE HIGH RESOLUTION PICTURES. DURING THE AUCTION TIME SO FAR I HAVE ENCOUNTERED SOME VERY UNUSUAL BEHAVIOR FROM SOME OF OUR FELLOW EBAYERS. THEREFORE I HAVE TO APPLY SOME SAFETY MEASURES TO THIS LISTING. ALL WHO INTEND TO BID FROM NOW ON MUST FIRST EMAIL ME AT
untitled121212um0.jpg
FOR PRE-APPROVAL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. BIDS THAT ARE NOT APPROVED OVER THE EMAIL WILL BE CANCELLED. CHEERS AND GOOD LUCK"

As there's only £40 been bid what do you reckon the "unusual behaviour" is?

Not looking good though is it? Another stolen EBay ID?
