"A: The Ford GT will have one of the most advanced suites of performance-tuned driver-assist technologies, including traction control, stability control, advanced active aerodynamics, including a deployable rear wing, keyed to both speed and driver input. The deployable rear wing adjusts its height and/or pitch angle, depending upon conditions tied into its suite of active aerodynamics."
Now, consider the fact that the '05/'06 FGT had none of these 'features'...nor did it have an ounce of carbon fiber anywhere (that I can recall, anyway)...and the fact that the existing GT's 'sticker (in '06) was $167K (and that was 10 years ago)...then throw in the fact that we're being told by Ford that the new car's total production will be far less than that of the present GTs (therefore far fewer cars to recoupe r & d & production costs)...and maybe you can see why I believe $250K stickers are not too likely. ($167K X 2[?] = $334K b-a-r-e m-i-n-i-m-u-m IMHO.)
Buuuuuut, right now ANY speculation re: the new car's 'sticker' is just that - speculation.
Ditto re: the dealer markup...although I'd bet most of us could come pretty darned close there.
