Good for you. Finding those items isn't easy... I have far fewer vintage pieces and they were difficult to find.

The parts in the box are a batch of spare nut rings for the fuel bladders. I think Ali got them from Jay and he buys quite a lot from him.
The new parts Jay makes are top notch as you well know.

I have several items from Jay on the car. And if the timing had been different by several years, I would have more. He also makes some things I am looking at for replacements of some items, long term- stuff that is more accurate than what I had made in Annapolis.

There have been some comments recently regarding safety cages.
Ali's car has a roll bar fitted integral to the B pillar.
Note the inspection hole in the previous photo.

That does look VERY familiar, I have to say.... good for you, they are coming along quite nicely. My fuel pumps are lateral to where yours are, yours are in a better location, mine barely clear the bodywork.

More progress on Ali's car
Drive train going in and fit up is good. The gaps for the transaxle mount bushes are spot on.

Very nice looking... what clutch are you all using in there, and cylinder heads? You used the original-size bellhousing and the multiplate clutch, right- is it an AP? Fit is excellent, it all looks first rate.

re: Jimmymac & Alistair's Cars

Looking very good, James.

I do not think you guys need a bodywork for the car, it looks beautiful as it is!

Say hello to Ali.

Best.
