Minilites on a GT40

I've got a pair for sale on the site here, but I've never seen a set on a GT40, replica or otherwise, does anyone have any pictures of a minilite shod '40?

If you go to www.trademe.co.nz and then click Cars,Bikes & Boats then click Specialised Cars, there was a 40 replica with a set of Performance Minilite replica wheels on it. they are not true Minilites but it will give you some idea of what it might look like. Hope it helps . Leonmac.

Old thread I know......But does anyone have a shot of a GT40 with Minilites?

I am thinking of buying a set for my current project....

Dave, Mr.Mag in Morley has 15x10 Performance Superlights in stock. They have a very deep (26mm negative) offset. Backspace was around 113mm, 5x120 PCD available from memory.

I was going to slip a set on my TR8 race car.

I like the look and it seems no one else has these wheels on a 40.

I am thinking Satin black powder coat. Would be good to see them on a 40 though.

not a 40 but a modern GT on minilites, bad picture quality though, but you get the idea a bit.

I knew I had some pics of the 15x10 Superlites somewhere!

Also here are a couple of pics of 17x9.5 'Minilite' style that are well priced. Apparently they are popular with the Datsun 240Z folk.

I prefer the "Superlight" wheels, somewhat difficult to come by here in the USA. We have used them in past (non-GT40) projects. Very well made and relatively inexpensive too.
