This kind of political debate isn't confined to car forums. If you look at the boating forum that I moderate (Sam's Marine International, Hatteras Owners Forum) there is an area called the Sandbar which was created for this kind of thing. People can say whatever they want there- but not on the rest of the forum. Although it isn't enforced as strictly as it is here, which is a shame. Stuff tends to leak out into the rest of the forum, which is regrettable.

Hey- we live in tumultuous times and we're an opinionated bunch. I'd rather have that than hang around with a bunch of lemmings who just go off the cliff when told to....
