New GTD40 owner- Build Manual

Hello All,

I`ve recently purchased a part built GTD40 Mk1, unfortunately the owner does not have the Build manual.
From what I read about the GTD40 design, it is of high quality, So to do the GTD40 justice I would like to build it to the designers spec.
If anyone can help me locate an original or copy of the GTD40 Mk1 build manual I would be most grateful.



I am not sure of the exact birth date of the chassis. but I think around 6-10 yrs old.

welcome to the forum. Have you bought the kit of bits that was for sales in Saxmundham?
I'm building a Tornado just outside Norwich (Attleborough) if you need any information/support.

Thanks for the welcome note, yes that is the kit of parts I have brought. not sure of its origin other than the Chassis and body are GTD.

how is your build coming on. I have a business partner at snetterton, I cooasionally get over to see him, maybe I could call in on you .

I have an original manual for the 1st GTD I built in 1999, if you want I can make a copy and send it to you, originally they were photo copies of photo copies so pictures are not good, nevertheless I built the car OK and it's still out there in the Ascari circuit doing it thing. I also have an original GTD sales brochure which I can scan and put on the forum !

Welcome to the forum.
Since you are in the UK, I would strongly advice you to contact Frank Catt (also on this forum), Wealden Egineering
He is a GT(D) 40 specialist. He can give you all the advice and help you need.

I am actually right now at his place with my car, and going to the Goodwood festval of speed this weekend.
