I was wondering why a red car also, if I was the marketing person it would have been silver. Strange.

I am reliably informed that the original ad (pre Schu) was not only made with a different driver but the car was in silver. It has already been seen in that colour (on TV).

Then, for some inexplicable reason - it was remade as you see it now.

Now, I'm not a conspiracy lover but you could be looking at part of the "price" Mercedes had to pay to get MS on board.

Makes sense to me.....

Merc must have wanted him real bad. There is no way on God's Earth that Merc would have made the ad in a red car for NO reason .:sneaky:
