New MK4s

Kenny Thompson of Denver NC spent 7 years building plans built GT40 MK4s. These are amazing, down to the last rivet. All have 427 big block. He even used glued up aluminum honey comb and stick aluminum welding. Even the the front and rear spindle uprights where recast.
One is a Breadwagon that he has kept. the others are standard MK4s.
They have been given serial numbers J-12 thru J-19.
The workmanship is truly awesome:

Amazing. These would still be considered supercars by todays standards. The workmanship is superb.

Where did you take the photos? It looks like they have some other hot items as well- isn't that a Cobra next to it?

Yes the red one is @ Oltoff's Superformance.
The yellow one is at Kenny's shop. He was firing up the 600hp 427 for the first time.
He is also converting an original GT Can-Am car to a MK4.
The day I took my GT40 to Olthoff's dyno there where 5 GT40's at least 6 Cobras and an original MK4 and the new Red one. WOW

What kind of price range would a MK IV replica as described above be in?

Is there a web link for more info? (I tried a search on the forum to no avail)

Thx

The fisrt pictures on your last post are Autokraft circa 1985/86 and are J11 and J12 being completed. I have posted pictures from Autokraft in 1985 when I saw both chassis unfinished. Was offered a smoking hot deal, but alas, still out of my range.

The balance are J6 at Jim G's shop during its' freshening.

The first pic is of an original car, and the last pic is of the first J car.
