So, Pittsburgh International Race where the 60th GT event was held last year is no more at the end of the year. The track is being sold to become a "data center" as it has a water tower, power and space. The owners are cashing out (and I doubt they are going away with pockets full of cash after the investments they have made in the facility). Sadly, this will remove a very nice motorsports facility off the list of places you want to go with your car for fast fun. This is a real loss to the performance community as many events, conventions and other gathering have been held there. The track was one of the best for facilities, amenities and challenging race surface.
RIP, Pitt Race, we will miss you.
