Dropped the old bullet in the chassis last night. First time. A test fit but progress none the less. Headers are next and then I'll dyno the beast.

Neal, Why is your exhaust outlets on the side? Turbo? or catalytic converter?

I have yet to fabricate the transmission mounts. The attachment point is at the sheet triangles in the rear of the frame (by the battery cable.) A simple pair of overlapping L-shaped brackets and a rubber isolator between each of them should work well. Keep it simple! The shifter came with the car is is a dual cable setup. The cables mate to the shifter with threaded rod ends and the transmission linkage need to be fabricated. I plan on replicating this setup... Audi Shifter Setup

These are a set of Schoenfeld stock car headers that I am using as a starting point for my headers. I will section them and bring the collectors side by side and to the center.

Hmmm...turbo!

As I recall, Phil Wares chassis is set up
for the Renault trans. What mods did you have to do to fit the Audi?

And did you get a shifter from Phil?
