Random ZF gearbox info

Can anyone tell me the shift pattern? I haven't drove my car since it has been delivered and this is one question I still have. I found reverse by pulling the shifter to the left and down.

Thanks

Hi Allen,
Most ZF patterns are R-2-4 forward with 1-3-5 backward. The gate is slightly staggered with reverse needing a definite far left and forward push. I assume your ZF is the same, but the right side 'shifter box' has been removed on yours and I can't tell if you have any bellcranks in your linkage from the one photo I saw.

Hi Dave,

I thought I was using reverse by shifting left and then down. I could be wrong though. At this moment I need to get the shifting adjusted so I can go through the gears smoothly.

I will start a new thread about this rather than change the coarse of this thread with my problem.
