Rear bodywork fastener

Ian,

I believe that you are speaking about photos of my

car's "safety pin".

The door will close without the pin in place, but the pin

must be removed to open the rear clip. I always leave the

pin on the driver's seat as a reminder to put it back in,

so that my "drag chute", doesn't deploy! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yes it was your post - really simple idea and they must be strong as anything else on offer.

I misread your poost - I thought that the pins were in such a place that the door would not close unless they were pushed home - that said putting a pin that long on the seat would be a great aid memoir!

I believe they are from a 1969. They are the smaller size. They are available thru Tony Branda Tel (814)942-1869
