Here are 3 pics of my new gearshift.The design is from a 1973 Brabham F1 car and Mr Bolts aka Will Croll built it for me.I raced with it last weekend and it is very good.I found the best way to change from 3rd to 4th was to push the stick over to where 5th would be while in 3rd and push it straight up.It's now easy to know the difference between 2nd and 4th, nice when changing down in corners. Nice. Couple of questions:

Does your ZF have the small box on the side such that the shift linkage comes in from the front?

It looks like the shifter directly rotates the shift rod. Is this true?

Gary I don't have the box but have replicated what's inside it.Yes the stick directly rotates the shaft.
