P2120 at Road America quite a few years back at the 45 anniversary GT40 meet (I think) 2008. It is hard to believe we have had it almost 15 years now. It was one of the first batch that Superformance made (for a very reasonable price back then).
GTD. Built 1989 by Brian Pepper, GTD Distributor, for first owner Alan Barlow (804AJB). Full rebuild, re-engineered and developed by Frank Catt, Wealden Engineering Development with second owner Andrew Fordyce in late 90s for competition, track and fast-road use. Successful seven year hill climb history in the early 2000s in Andrew’s hands. Recommissioned 2017 by Frank Catt for current owner.
The most important detail on this build is that there was no budget and that it was the realization of the Kar Kraft concept that was not attempted due to testing time constraints.
Here is a photo of the first batch of GT40s that came through Olthoff's in early 2007. Mine is 2120 the blue and titanium striped MKII center left. Who else's are show here? Chime in please!
