The weight of the car depends upon your choice of engine package as there are four choices currently available and fifth being added very soon...
4G63 Mitsubishi
Chevrolet Ecotec turbo /supercharger or NA.
Neon SRT4
Honda K series
and the VW 1.8 and 2.0T being finalised very soon...
lowest weight so far is 1400lbs and a full turboed, interdrooled iron block 4G63 with 400rwhp being 1600lbs...
The new body is only 20lbs heavier...FYI.

CA has four seasons too: Drought, fires, riots and floods.
Unlike snow in MI, two of those are uncommon occurrences.
Riots have yet to happen for awhile and normally floods are a thing of legend. Getting a decade's worth of rain within weeks last Dec. was nuts though.

That's OK; he left out season 5: taxes.

Can't wait for the VW setup! Although, now that I have it up and running I still think the best choice out there is the LNF....but I guess I am a bit biased.....

APR's big turbo 2.0T is awesome...expensive too though!

Will Nissan's SR20 get some love too?
What motor do you prefer? I'd assume the 4g63t.

Would really like to see Subaru's boxer motor in there....perhaps the turbo'd WRX STI model? Does the width of such a motor preclude its use in this platform? It seems that the lower center of gravity would be beneficial in this application....

Cheers from Doug!!

Fran, how much to make some of those suspension arms for the Atom? The chromoly aerodynamic ones from Ariel run about $4000-5000 for a set.

Sorry Bolus...Superlite Exclusive...no point in me improving a competitors car if they won't do it themselves...right?...just buy a Razor and be done with it....

Sounds about right :2thumbsup:

You mentioned a front and rear wing addition for the Razor, how much will that cost and will it look similar to the atom's?
