So im considering electric and diesel btw Tesla wont work for me i wanna keep the transmission and if i used the diesel it would really have to be a larger displacement so i can get more hp

Well ive started to move more twards the electric but for the diesel i was thinking about a 7.3 powerstroke
Do you know how big and heavy a 7.3 is? Not sure the SLC is configured to take such a lump. Actually a 6.4 Powerstroke would fit better as it has a "hot V" so you don't need to package the turbo plumbing on the side of the block where real estate will be in short supply on an SLC.
The 6.4 electrical systems is what turned me away and as far as the 7.3 goes it seems like its all in how tall the engine is
