I may be wrong but it looks like a scam to me.

If it looks too good to be true it probably is.

What could be the problem or scam?
It is pretty easy to verify the car before any money changes hands.
That car is a smoking deal, a kit version of a CAV sells for that much.
A lot of people on this forum are always talking about waiting for Santa to drop something in their lap.

I am just saying it looks like too good a deal. If I wanted a SPF40 I would bid, but as you said I would want to see the car before I bid or at least before money changed hands. I have seen a lot of scammers on Ebay and any deal that looks too good makes me a little suspicions.

it is certainly a good deal based on the original price, but a used car with motor and transaxle can still be had for less than you could put this one together for. Car prices are down, but trannys and motors are priced like they were a year ago.
