Can't thank Paul Whitlock enough. 5 long days of work and we finished the car. Lot's of little items and a few problems. I'll outline things at some point so this build can serve as a bit of a model for the do-it-yourself guy. Paul corrected some of my mistakes, but some of the issues you couldn't anticipate (or at least a rank amateur like me couldn't). This isn't a "kit". There's no build manual and no one says: "Hey, if you want a dry sump you need to hack up the fire wall", or "the elbow fitting Superformance gives you doesn't have a deep enough groove for the thermostat so it'll puke coolant until you machine it".

I may have finished things over the winter, but some critical items would have been done wrong or poorly. In short, it takes me approx 10x the amount of time to accomplish what Paul does, and I lack the intimate knowledge of these cars that he has, so some things I would have only figured out by screwing it up. That is usually costly.
