Stewart Warner 240-A fuel pump

Anyone out there running SW 240’s with a Holley? Interested in what fuel pressure you are running as SW recommends 4 psi for pump output. They do have plenty of volume. I always have run 6-7 with a 715 Holley with a regulated “blue” Holley rotary pump. Most of the dual 240 pumps on 40s I have seen with a single Holley are plumbed parallel.

If you’re not racing the car, I would stick closer to 4-5 PSI for spirited driving. You really only need about 3 PSI to keep fuel levels in spec.

Mine is 3psi on SW240A and 650 Holley. Seems ok for now that.
