Hi Pete,
I hope to make it to Melbourne - need to sort out accomodation first.
How many Fenders do you need? Seems I've got more than 25 (mostly stratocasters it seems) and still increasing,2 Rickenbackers, a Hohner, 2 Gibson Les Paul, a Jews (Jaws?) Harp and a Mouth Organ once played by Larry. Larry? No Bagpipes yet though - which is one of the few things I managed to master - well, not master but I can wrestle with them and beat them into submission. I'm just about to go out to have a quick check on how my -40 is coming on as I may need to sell it to pay for all these guitars.

Dave talking about Larry , in the mid '90's I was taking refreshment in a restaurant attached to a well known London Club (let's just say there was a chrome pole near the table) and I pushed my chair back somewhat agressively in order to leave the table and attend to some matter or other, not realising that the chair behind me was occupied by none other than the great Larry Adler who I had unceremoniously dumped in his soup. He was with some amazing looking young ladies so he obviously had plenty of puff left in him. I used to worry about that vein on his forehead though - it used to bulge ominously when he blew hard.

Now, let's see what you lot can make of that....there's plenty of material there.

Larry Adler. in the past, lots of interesting notes in Private Eye from him.
Maybe I should attempt to contact the mouth organ vendor and make a serious bid, but it would only be a curio paperweight if I did.
Now, I need to get back to my practise with the chanter to wind up the neighbours. Anybody got any spare plectrums as well?
This ebay scam has become ridiculous as most of the 'sellers' have lost their rag and emailing me with threats of everything from ex-communication to downright abuse. I would need to buy a bigger house to put all these guitars in.....

The way I look at it..........anyone that has 5000+ cars needs more cars. In addition, someone that owns 5000+ cars probably doesn't know how to drive them anyway. That's why he has them.....to look at.
