W8 and Corvette Transaxle?

Just wondering whether anyone has tried the Elite Racing TXL300 transaxle.
It looks good but I don't see many circuit racing type projects using it.

I have one that we are going to be testing very soon....

I notice that it does not have as many built in options as the more expensive transaxles such as Xtrac/Emco/Sadev but thats due to the price point probably.
We will be running ours with a bump lever not a paddle system

Be very interested in how that works Fran, I like the plate type LSD and drop gears. On paper it looks like a good track day transaxle, you don't drive on paper of course so time will tell.
Cheers.

ah-HEM!

Hi,

Here are some approx. fitting dimensions for the W8:
700mm wide (from Cylinder Head Covers)
500mm deep (Front Pulleys to rear Crank Case)
600mm high (Top Cover to Oil Pan)

Tuning Options: Chip Tuning (Wetterauer), Custom Valve and Piston rework,
Custom Cams, Custom Air Intake, Custom Exhaust (Audi mod).
No Turbo or Charger recommendation!(note: that is, for its original installation in a Volkswagen Passat -Les)
